Nicely coached game by Kelley. ND is limited on offense but plays great D. Because of the lack of offense, they're really not a top 10 or top 5 (elite) team but they will be the way the system works.
Congrats, Clash
Thanks...
I was actually furious with Kelly's play calling with both series backed up into our own end-zone. Not one rush...everything on Golson...

We gave up a 28 point 4th qtr. to you guys last year with gift turnovers all over the fucking place...I'm not apologizing for catching a break from Michigan fans this season...and probably not next either.

That's fine, Mike.
My biggest beef is with the replay officials, and the interpretation of the rules. There was a ballcarrier who carried the ball over the goal line, never had his forward progress halted, ... yet was not awarded a TD. Again, I say if they're not going to correct errors on the field, then do away with replay completely. Let the zebras on the field call the game, and live with their mistakes."in order to lead America you must love America"

Clash, you go.
Whining about the calls from the refs is just that. Whining. You deal with what's on your plate. In the end, ND took the the game by playing great D against an unimaginative Stanford O. Give them credit instead of whining about the refs.
One thing I notice about Kelley is that he seems to be a master of the game by being one step ahead, just one, of his opponents with his game management. He's not lucky. He's tremendously attuned to what his players can and cannot do. Prozac will do that.
Like Clash said, 6-0.
..... and I hate the F...ing Irish.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Liney, the missing variable here is when the whistle blew...if you want me to acknowledge that Stanford hadn't had forward progress halted...that he wasn't down...that the ball crossed the plane (no clear undisputed video of that)...and that he didn't lose control of the ball before it supposedly crossed the pland....
Then do me a favor and acknowledge that a number of Stanford players had stopped blocking and a number of ND players were celebrating....
Some idiot blew the whistle...early? Perhaps...boo mother fucking hoo...

I'd love to hear the explanation of a player never touching the ground and reaching the ball over the goal line not being rewarded a TD. Even if you say he fumbled, the ball was recovered by a Stanford player. Thought for certain that the replay officials would have the guts/integrity to call it correctly, since television replay showed indisputable evidence of a TD.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

Believe in karma in CFB. I feel like every possible break that could have gone against us last year...did. Then the CFB Gods threw on a few more just for good measure. And I'm not just talking about the Michigan game. South Florida was almost as excruciating...USC was devastating. We got some breaks coming...
You're catching me off guard here...as I've always considered you the most biased ND hater on the board...
