Proximity makes the ND game a good match up economically so, Brandon is going to see that as a reason to keep them on the schedule. All the other points are valid but CFB is is driven by economics these days.
That and, again, proximity, are what are going to keep M from finding good OOC home and home match-ups with SEC, B12 and PAC12 (don't even want to think about the PAC12 ..... way too far) opponents. I hate what Brandon did with Alabama but that is the trend. That is where we are going to see elite match-ups ...... at seat prices that will set your bank account way back if you want to attend.
With the advent of the play-off system, I'd be happy with concentrating on the conference schedule and figuring out ways to make it more balanced and equitable. I don't like the current Division alignment, room for improvement.
