Liney .... it's OP.
Throws grenades into closed spaces and gasoline on raging fires .... just for the fun of it.
You need to understand this.
I did see him with Liberace once, though.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Must see dvd here which features one show with Liberace and Cassius Clay performing together. Bobby Kennedy, Tricky Dick, Goldwater, Billy Graham, lots to be fascinated by here.

Ok…so I committed to spending more time posting here and haven’t even come close to fulfilling it…despite a number of juicy ND headlines of late. To be honest, I’m not sure that I will be spending a lot of time posting here, or anywhere else, in the immediate future. I can say with certainty that I’m done arguing and debating over minutiae. Though I do reserve the right to change my mind, at my sole discretion, particularly when the season starts.
I need to come clean with you guys on something that I had been debating whether or not to share. I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer back in April. It had spread to my liver, but seems to have held there as we caught it before it metastasized into the lymph nodes. I have been undergoing chemo-therapy for over six weeks now. In short, I’m in a fairly serious, but not at all insurmountable situation.
Initially I figured that I’d keep it to myself and use the mssg forums as an escape from reality from time-to-time. But the truth is (not surprisingly in hindsight) that football…even Notre Dame football…doesn’t seem all that important anymore. I keep up with headlines…but rarely read the articles anymore…only recognize a couple recruit names…etc. I’m sure I’ll be more active during the season, but for now, there are a lot of other priorities that require my attention and energy.
Having said all that, know that I am doing very well personally. A number of things have changed besides my year-round obsession with twelve Saturday’s in the fall…I’m a fuckin vegan now, I take fuckin yoga classes and practice fuckin Japanese meditation techniques. All the kind of hippie-esque, Ann Arbor kind of shit that I would have laughed at three months ago…but I have to admit that they are paying dividends. I have yet to miss a day of work…am still mowing my own lawn…teaching my kid to play t-ball and ride a bike, etc. My spirits are up and I’m confident I’m going to give this thing a hell of a fight.
So that’s it…I will say that I have every intention of being at the Big House for ND’s last scheduled visit and if I’m there, will certainly meet you guys at Scio Church. I’m not in a position to promise as I don’t know what my condition will be. But if I’m there, I’d like to meet as many of you as I can.
Also Liney, please to go ahead and change the title of this thread as discussed.
I will close with a couple ND tid-bits as I hate giving this news to people and would rather close on something else...
1) Apparently Kelly said Tommy Rees would be our starter last night. I don’t think it was meant to be an announcement as he was at a minor Grand Valley State event in Grand Rapids with minimal press. Also hearing that ND tried to quash it this morning, but it’s on audio. Not happy if this is true. I've got no issue with Rees named starter going into the summer workouts for clarity and leadership purposes without coaches. But fall camp needs to be an open competition.
2) ND insiders say that Golson copied and pasted 2-3 pages of something and mixed them into a 15 page term paper. As I understand it he has been given a very specific set of criteria for the next 7 month. If he meets it, he's got a good shot of getting re-admitted for winter '14...but they won't promise shit...they never do.
3) I’m hearing that ND is close to inking a ten year deal with Texas with four home/four away/two neutral games. This would effectively replace the Michigan game for us. Though close, I don’t think Texas matches Michigan in terms of profile. But I do like the more national in-lieu-of regional aspect of that game…
…and I certainly don’t think ND is chicken for scheduling it.

Fight that cancer Like A Champion Today (and tomorrow, and the next day, etc., etc.), Clash! Like Mike posted above, we're all pulling for you, and it sounds like you've got the right mindset for the battle you have in front of you.
Please keep us posted, looking forward to seeing you at the Scio Church Road Tailgate in September. My prayers are with you!

I've always respected Clash as a gentleman and honest advocate for his preferred school. He has never stooped to cheap name-calling and has been open and honest about his concerns and his passions. Now we learn he has a really serious problem to deal with and I, and I'm sure all on this forum, wish him nothing but the best for a recovery. Just goes to show what's really important - and it's not sports! Anyway, Mike I wish you the best and really hope you can beat this thing. If I ever get back to Scio I would love to meet you. You are a first class guy, regardless of the school you support.
