I've attended many an NHL game over the years, first at the old Olympia (showing my age) and more recently at the Joe Louis. For some reason the appeal has worn off and I think it has to do with the unpredictability and "luck of the bounce" that often determine the outcome. The complexity and strategy that go into football have succeeded in replacing BB as the national sport. Anyway, I guess I'm not Canadian enough.
I posted this little joke several years ago, but some may have missed it:
Question: Why do Canadians like to do "it" doggie style?
Answer: So they can both watch the hockey game.
