Ah.. ok. For some reason I thought that U-M Hockey was going to be playing some sort of under card game and then the Red Wings were playing after that.
No matter though. I've been watching. Looks like a great crowd for a cold day, and a holiday to boot.
I'd like to see more outdoor regular season hockey. It seems more natural for them to be playing outdoors.
And with LA temperatures at game time likely to be in the mid 60's, to lower 70's, it will still stay frozen?
This I need to see.
When we used to skate on Fridays and Saturdays at Ballenger Park in Flint, even though the rink had a refrigeration system under the ice, the ice would start melting when the air temps got around 40 degrees.
I don't see how they'll be able to keep it frozen with temperatures in the 60's and maybe 70's.
