Nope, it doesn't. Hopefully, our good fortune will continue this year. Injuries have killed us the past few years during either the regular season or the playoffs.

Fighting is down 30% this year, Bettman has made it clear to Shanny he wants it out of the game. When the players policed them self's I thought it was best (and loved it), but im used to not even thinking about it now. Mick with the call..

I admit it---I enjoy a good hockey game to occasionally break out in the middle of the hockey fights.
Probert was both one helluva hockey player and fighter---too bad he had his demons that he could never conquer, but he alone was worth the price of admission when he was at the top of his game. If he could have sobered up permanently, he potentially could have been one of the alll-time great Red Wings. Thanks for that youtube clip!

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Probert#Death:
Bob Probert's family announced, on September 25, 2010, that his brain would be donated to the Sports Legacy Institute to assist researchers who are studying the effects of concussions and other sports-related head injuries.[24] In February 2011, it was announced by researchers at Boston University that they had found evidence of chronic traumatic encephalopathy in Probert's brain.[25]
