Pens-Sharks or Bolts-Sharks would at least make for an entertaining series. As long as it's not the Blues.

7.5M a season and at only 26 years of age, he's in his prime, worth the risk but he's looking for 9-11M a season for a full 8 years and will likely get it.
Suitors include Boston, Detroit, Montreal, Toronto and others. Unless Yzerman can orchestrate a blockbuster trade before July 1st, Stamkos will walk as a UFA and Tampa will get NOTHING for him.
Given Tampa's success in the playoffs without him, it's highly unlikely they will sign him, many underpaid playoff performers on the team looking for a raise.
UFA & RFA Players this season, several great players available.

Pens find another gear in games 6 & 7 that Tampa couldn't match. Surprised to see Stamkos return for the last game, might have been different had he played the series.
San Jose will be tough."Whole milk, not the candy-ass 2-percent or skim milk."

Holland has taken quite a bit of shit for letting Filppula go, but for $5 Million a year, he only had 1 goal and 6 assists this year in the playoffs to go with only 31 points in 76 regular season games. He has only 24 playoff goals in 152 games. The guy has just never produced offensively at his talent level for some reason.Last edited by Hannibal; May 27, 2016, 08:06 AM.

The eight teams competing in the World Cup of Hockey 2016 will announce their final roster selections Friday.
Rosters will be revealed throughout the day, based on the following schedule (all times ET): Team Finland, 3 a.m.; Team Russia, 5 a.m.; Team Czech Republic, 5 a.m; Team Sweden, 11 a.m.; Team Europe, 6:09 p.m.; Team USA, 6:13 p.m.; Team North America, 6:16 p.m.; Team Canada, 6:22 p.m.
Russian Team announced, NO Alexander Radulov and Ilya Kovalchuk!
Huge surprise, LA King's Voynov named, 200% chance NHL will not let him play, expect INS to arrest him should he try to re-enter the USA.
Slava Voynov entered his no contest plea in July 2015, at which point he was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Upon his release from California’s Seal Beach Detention Center in September, Voynov was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement before choosing to leave the country willingly and return to Russia.

Sharks @ Penguins Monday, May 30 8 p.m. NBC
The Sharks are going to prove a tough matchup for the Penguins, who rely on skill players Cindy, Malkin, Kessel. The Sharks' physical play has worn their opponents out with checking form. Of the top 10 hitters in the postseason this year, San Jose has three players within those ranks.
For the first five games, San Jose held Tarasenko to zero points before he scored two goals in the third period of the deciding Game 6. But the game was already out of reach by then, and the series was wrapped up.
The Sharks could try and key in on one of Pittsburgh's top players, but the thing is 8 different players have 10 or more points this postseason, while 16 of the 22 players who have dressed for the Penguins have scored.
Sharks in 6 !!
