  • Ovechkin went pointless in the Bronze game, that left him with only 2 points over 6 Tournament games.

Ovie complained about the "Russian System" and the Ice although he is a Muscovite?!?

You look good in bronze Ovie....STFU.

Canada beat Finland 2-0 to capture back-to-back World Championships.

Connor McDavid scored the gold medal game winning goal.

A Rep Team of NHL journeymen less Hall, Perry, Duchene McDavid & a few others. LOL

As per Russian News, Pavel "America has been very good to me" Datsyuk has negotiated a 2-year deal with St. Petersburg of the KHL although he and his agent currently deny it.

          • Cindy's ugly mug was on the ice for the tie and losing goal. Letang was even worse, - 4, on ice for all Tampa goals. Pittsburgh lost for the first time all season (46 games) when leading after two periods.

I leave for Europe on Tuesday to hit the Grand Prix of Monaco. Don't worry, I'll be reporting trackside.

Was hoping you boys would continue the Pens rinkside reporting?

Best of all it was in Pittsburgh. Hopefully TB will drive the stake home next game. If not, it would be really nice to see Cindy and her gal-pals eliminated on the Pen's home ice. Kind of an early Father's Day gift.

Fleury's last game as a Penguin.

Mike Sullivan took a gamble by inserting him, expected a bounce but got burned instead.

Tampa got all the bounces last night, good and lucky?!?

Crosby & Malkin represent 22M in salary, they are getting outscored by guys earning 700k.

                      • It takes a lot of luster off Stamkos, IMO. I sorta want the Wings to steer clear of him this off season.

                        Comment

                        • Stamkos, up until he had broken his leg was the hottest goal scorer in the league and the only 60 goal scorer over the last 14 seasons.
7.5M a season and at only 26 years of age, he's in his prime, worth the risk but he's looking for 9-11M a season for a full 8 years and will likely get it.
Suitors include Boston, Detroit, Montreal, Toronto and others. Unless Yzerman can orchestrate a blockbuster trade before July 1st, Stamkos will walk as a UFA and Tampa will get NOTHING for him.

Given Tampa's success in the playoffs without him, it's highly unlikely they will sign him, many underpaid playoff performers on the team looking for a raise.

UFA & RFA Players this season, several great players available.

                          • Boom! Pens stave off elimination beat Bolts 5-1, or 2 if you count Phil Kessel scoring on his own net!

Crosby’s third game-winning goal of the series. Game 7 this Thursday back in Pittsburgh!

Did the Bolts just blow their best shot?

OP reporting to you live from Paris!

(Never watched a NHL hockey game from French soil before, weird)
