Ducks fail to closeout series in games 6 & 7.
Chicago is in their 3rd Cup Final in 6 years thanks to Captain Jonathan Toews, sets tone early with back-to-back goals in the first.
Duncan Keith is unreal.
Stuck in St. Louis & Chicago this weekend but working hard for SCF tix. Go Bolts!Last edited by Prime2; May 31, 2015, 09:47 AM."Whole milk, not the candy-ass 2-percent or skim milk."

It's true , Anaheim needed more from its topline in G7, didn't get it.
The Swede deadbeat goalie Andersen surrenders 5 goals on 26 shoots, he had to be better, no suprise there.Last edited by Prime2; May 31, 2015, 05:56 PM."Whole milk, not the candy-ass 2-percent or skim milk."

McDavid named CHL's Player of the Year, wins 2 other awards
Josh Gold-Smith May 30 2015, 06:53PM
Connor McDavid added a trio of honors to his already impressive resume.
The NHL's top prospect was named the CHL's Player of the Year, Scholastic Player of the Year (A - average, 2 years in a row), and Top Prospect of the Year on Saturday.
McDavid amassed 120 points in 47 regular-season games (missed 21 games with broken hand) in his third season with the OHL's Erie Otters, adding 49 points in 20 playoff contests.
He was named the OHL's most outstanding player and playoff MVP earlier this month.
The 18-year-old is expected to be selected first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in next month's NHL Entry Draft.

Chicago fans have no idea how fortunate they are that their team hasn't massively choked and laid an egg in the playoffs. They are in their third final in six seasons. They haven't gotten submarined by teams with vastly inferior talent the way that the Red Wings did so many times from 1992 through 2006. Since the lockout they are 10-1 with the home ice advantage and they have won lots of road series too. Must be nice.Last edited by Hannibal; June 1, 2015, 08:04 AM.

The nonbandwagon/recent fans know how fortunate we are. This is the Blackhawks golden era - no doubt about it. It will eventually end, but man has it been a great ride. We are lucky that we have several very good players and a few great players, who actually live up to expectations in big games.

I know that there is at least on forum member here who hates Kane, but geeze can he deliver when needed. He is averaging more than a point per playoff game over his career. Then there is Toews. There are propbably better skill guys, and faster and stronger guys out there, but I would not trade him for anyone. By all reports he is ultra competetive and absolutely hates losing. In my opinion, that has filtered through to the rest of the team. He has been awesome.

Team OP just snagged Game #1 tickets, Tampa Bay for Wednesday. Lexus Lounge Premium seating 14 rows from ice, screw job still but nothing like the Rangers at MSG.
At this very moment, Toews is playing like the best player in the world right now and Keith is not far behind. Duncan Keith is an Ironman and will likely set a new playing time record and perhaps win the scoring title as a Defenceman, he is doing it all when it matters most.
JQ looks lime a genius putting Saad-Toews-Kane on one line, their speed was more than the Ducks could handle. But they split up though against TB.
Conn Smythe snapshot:
Toews/Keith : tied.
Kane : not far behind."Whole milk, not the candy-ass 2-percent or skim milk."
