Anyone see the end of the Wings game last night? That has to be the most ridiculous example of a non-reviewable play I've ever seen. I'll happily take the 2 points, though! The Wings need to stay afloat until the cavalry comes back from IR.

The Red Wings just won back-to-back games at home for the first time since mid-October! How crazy is that? Two fantastic games vs. original 6 rivals. I couldn't believe they beat Chicago (a game I attended) and then took it to Montreal last night 4-1.
As depressing as their injury-depleted roster is, they still fight their asses off. It's pretty bad when I'm at the game and can readily identify the opposing players more easily than our own. At one point Chicago got their top line of Toews, Hossa, Sharp with Keith on D out against Sheahan, Glendening, Jurco, Smith and Lashoff. I don't know how we didn't lose 9-0. Too bad the Olympics are this year. The Wings are tied with Chicago and St. Louis for the most Olympians with 10 each. I have a feeling Datsyuk will re-injure that groin in Sochi. Hopefully nobody gets blown up either. Literally.

Rangers Fan Just Pees On Concourse In Front Of God And Everyone [NSFW]
12Expand
At yesterday's Yankee Stadium game, the night was cold, the beer flowing, and the bathroom lines long. One fan simply could not wait.
The unidentified man, wearing a Ryan Callahan jersey with the attendant captain's "C," had an audience for his concourse urination. So many questions, though. Why wouldn't he turn around and use that perfectly good corner? Why would the lady in the Rangers pajama bottoms stand so close to the splash zone? Does that look on his face indicate mere empty intoxication, or a too-late recognition that this was an awful idea?
This is the saddest photo ever taken.Benny Blades~"If you break down this team man for man, we have talent to compare with any team."

If the playoffs started today the Wings would be on the outside looking in.
Datsyuk has played 4 games for the Wings and of course 4 games for Putin & Mother*ucker Russia in Sochi over the last 3 months.
Although the Wings pay his salary and expensive rehab bills, is he healthy enough to at least pick-up a Kalashnikov and help Putin re-invade the Ukraine?

Appears the Wings have shut down Datsyuk for 3-4 weeks which is essentially the rest of the season.
Perhaps Detroit should bill the Soviet Union?

Wings are out of the playoffs now, having lost two in a row with no end in sight to the plague of injuries. If Zetterberg and Datsyuk aren't both back within a few weeks, then the streak is coming to an end for sure. The Legwand trade was an excellent one. I hate to see it go to waste.
