Easy packy, easy, it's 1-1 can't get much better for Wings.
Personally, I'd keep that frog on the bench. Howard doesn't have to be perfect, just one stop better than the other guy, let's see how this series plays out.Last edited by Optimus Prime; May 3, 2013, 05:35 PM.?I don?t take vacations. OP, I have had it with Howard, I have stuck up for him many times, but last night was an epic meltdown like I never see (from a Red Wing goalie) in the playoffs. When is he going to play to his potential in the playoffs? Time to prove he can like Osgood did, backing into his net isn't going to work, he is so lucky he didn't have to make a save in OT

Cindy came back in style, Crosby scored twice in the game's first eight minutes but the Penguins lost to the New York Islanders 4-3. No sweep for the Pens, would be very interesting if Islanders can win the next game @ home.

Pens take their foot off the gas defensively and squander a 3-1 lead, Fleury let in 3 softies.
Islanders game winner:
Okposo, who whipped a bouncing puck well wide of the net, It kicked off the end glass, landed in the crease, caromed off Fleury's pad and squirted over the goal line. Fluke goal, but now on to game 3.
Crosby did not disappoint or miss a beat, in a single game he has manged to tie the NHL Playoffs leading goal scorer, well-done Sir Sid.....I smell a Conn Smythe on the horizon.?I don?t take vacations. I don?t get sick. I don?t observe major holidays. I?m a jackhammer.?

Capitals dump the Rangers 1-0 in OT, great game. New York appears simply out of gas after only 1/2 season of play? Poor conditioning I suspect.
Cindy has 2 goals, yes....and finishes off the loss with a -1. Cherry-Picking defensive liability. Go Isles!
Although Crosby missed 1/4 of the entire season with multiple fractures of the jaw, he still destroyed every "contemporary" offensive star. Played 25% less games but more than doubled ANY of the Top 6 Scores by a 2-1 margin at +26. I smell a Hart Trophy on the horizon.

He takes bad penalties all the time, more than any Red Wing I have ever seen. I don't know why Babcock has him on the first line? Lack of depth, I guess. This ones over... nice play by Getzlaf and a poor excuse at a poke check by Howard.
