We're still at least one season away from firing any assistants, or showing them the door via retirement (Fred Jackson). We would NOT have gotten Derrick Green without Fred Jackson. He closed the deal. And as far as Borges, I think he should be given one more season. I have confidence in Coach Hoke that he will pull the trigger if he feels he's not getting the results he needs from Borges.

Hoping Borges isn't in the same mold but he could very well be. I don't trust the guy. Sorry. meanwhile leave the recruiting of our offensive guys to Funk Jackson (fading fast but what the hell he brought in Green, according to the press on him, and, I guess, Hoke .... I do trust that guy. If Borges is OK with him, then, he's OK with me ..... for the time being.

I can't wait until we play an important game with the Rose Bowl/playoffs on the line and we run off tackle on 3rd and 4, punt, and lose. It'll be just like old times!!
And it will only cost the die-hards several hundred dollars to witness in person!!Last edited by Mike; February 11, 2013, 03:22 AM.

It doesn't take a genius to decide the cost of a ticket, flight, meals and a hotel isn't worth the disappointment.
The Atlanta Braves, once a perennial pennant contender, sold only 60% of their tickets in 2012. Fans got tired of shelling out $400 for a game and paying for $30 hamburgers for a family of four to watch the Braves bullpen give up a three run lead in the late innings and lose.
Owners overplayed their hands, decimating the Braves once powerful farm league with stupid trades for shitty players. Before the fall from grace, fans bitched just like some of us here are. LMMFAO. Only a M fan could actually take 4 services where Ohio State is ranked higher than M in EACH AND EVERY ONE, combine them and rank M ahead of OSU. LOL. I guess he's really putting a high value on M's oversigning. Heh heh heh.
