The medical community standard of care for patients diagnosed with mono is " no contact sports" for 12 - 18 weeks depending on findings on the physical exam.
The spleen sequesters white blood cells and swells in mono. The liver also enlarges. The risk is damage to these organs in contact sports. Hell be fine long term.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.Comment
