  • Well, they consider Michigan when they want to keep it honest. They consider Auburn when they've had a wad of cash flashed at them.

A "wad"? No sir, a wad is something that you can fit into your pocket. Think "duffel bag" here.

        • I'd say he's a coin flip, 33% M, 33% Auburn, 34% the rest the field.
After reading the articles today on Rivals, I'd say he's 90% Auburn, 3% Michigan, and 7% rest of the field.

          • LOL. Auburn. Now, to be fair, they have a great depth chart and system to offer Green. But I'm sure the perks don't hurt. Heh. Although, I haven't heard anything about Green like I heard about Diamond. It may be that Auburn is providing additional incentives, but I haven't heard that Green is the type of kid who is actively looking for that stuff (unlike Diamond). I could easily see Green being enamored with a legit SEC power that is moving to more of a traditional offense and that has no stud RB in front of him.

            Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

            • Don't we kinda have a great depth chart too? Not to mention, possibly the best collection of offensive line recruits the past two years.

              • Yes. And I'm sure that's why he's now interested in M. I'm simply saying Auburn actually has legitimate things to offer, and I haven't heard anything negative about Green. And he was on the OSU radar/insiders radar for a long time.

                  • If that's the case, we'd lose, Ent. Michigan is the Russ Thomas of college football ..

Only real Detroit Lions fans know what I mean by that ...

                    • Russ Thomas was like George Halas, of whom Mike Ditka once said, "He throws nickels around like they're manhole covers." Or it might have been Dick Butkus who said it.

                      • They could have hid Jimmy Hoffa in Russ Thomas's wallet, and never found him.
