I'm not sure about Fuller, but reportedly Cravens cancelled a planned visit to Michigan, apparently due to a scheduling conflict. Red flag on this is that he hasn't mentioned re-scheduling the Michigan visit, leading most to believe we're out of the picture.

Both are technically "possible" -- Cravens is USC. Fuller, I don't know, but I think it's very unlikely.

Fuller is suppose to visit this summer, if he comes out of that visit with M in his top group; M might have a chance. Otherwise, I don't think he's likely... He's likely a Hokie, where several of his brothers play/played...

Cravens? No chance, he hasn't visited. He's been a USC lock for awhile, M might've had a very slim chance if they could've gotten him on campus.

Maurice Hurst NT commits to M, #19 of a 23-25 man class... Doesn't affect the other DT's/5-techs as Hurst was really the only NT they were recruiting. Yes, he was a plan B type after their top options didn't return mutual interest...

Poggi already was deciding soon, his timetable imo likely will speed up the others to make a decision on the last spot on the DL but only if they are strongly considering M.

Henry Poggi DT (4 to 5 star) is expected to decide in the next month. IMO one of the more important recruits left on the board, he's capable of giving M a DL that'll be strong for the next 5 years. It's a M vs Alabama battle, both sides confident but Bama is confident is confident about every recruit. M thought to lead early but Bama caught up...

So in other words, there's a 0% chance that he'll end up Blue.

After those two, M has Josh Augusta, Joe Mathis (long shot) and a few guys who they just recently offered (Wyatt Teller, Tashawn Bower) on their recruiting board.

In fairness, I think he was a plan B guy for them too. He is still a good get, and I am happy to have him aboard.

Tons of offers out already for class of '14 recruits for M, M is sending offers to kids all over the country and aren't honing in on local kids yet. They are casting a wide net and seeing what elite recruits are interested before sending offers out to midwest recruits who might jump at an offer.

Is this likely to have a negative effect on local kids who see M first offering offering others but not them and/or is the outstate talent just that more talented? Does it open the door for Dumbtonio to perhaps snag a few kids who might otherwise first entertain M.?

These early offers are likely top 100 overall types; also its very, very early for the class of '14 recruits. For the most part, there isn't much you can do in terms of recruiting in terms of contacting the '14 class till they start their junior year. It used to be you weren't even allowed to send out 'recruiting material' to recruits until they were juniors. Not sure if that rule changed but these junior 'camps' imo have really accelerated the recruiting process.

It's brilliant and known as the Urban F'wad Meyer effect, much like when Warren Buffet buys stock but with a twist.

Ohio pretends to express interest in a particular recruit, forces their traditional adversaries to counter offer, thus wasting a scholarship on an athlete that was never going to be a member of the Circle Of Trust anyway.
