So I’m now allowed to say that I’ve always liked Kirk Herbstreit? Me and Kirk think similarly when it comes to predicting games and I think he has been fair.
My dad seems to think that Kirk is responsible for Les Miles not coming to Michigan in 2007 due to his reporting. I vaguely remember that situation, but don’t think it’s worth holding a grudge over him.

It would be funny to give Herbstreit a few snaps in The Shoe in 2026 if M is defeating OSU again… the ultimate troll. Sounds like that is part of the reason this is happening anyways. Trolling OSU.

I think he does a decent job. There are four Alabama guys on the various big cfb shows.

I think Rece and Saban do a good job. Not a fan of Greg or Mark’s work.

My friend's niece married a dyed in the wool MSU Spartan fan. So much so that he named their son Breslin. Breslin grew up to be a Michigan fan.

IIRC, Kirk Herbstreit once said that he was being recruited by Michigan. I'm not sure if Bo was still HC at the time, but he said Bo spoke to him about coming to Michigan. He said Bo was pretty persuasive, but he ultimately decided to stay home.

His son looks just like him.

Michigan picked up the #1 RB in the portal today, Justice Haynes, former 5* recruit from Alabama. He just finished his sophomore season with 79 carries for 448 yards and 7 TDs for the Tide this season in what was basically a RB by committee situation.
