Not a big splash in the news transfer pickup for Michigan the other night.
Dale Chesson, a 5th-year senior WR who played at Dartmouth from 2019-2022, is listed on Michigan's roster.
Sound familiar? He is the brother of 2012-2016 Michigan WR Jehu Chesson
He has 3 yrs of eligibility. Has had injury troubles, so his numbers are not eye-popping, was a 3-star.

Really need Jeremiah Lowe, gives off a lot of Mikey Sainristil vibes. Small on film, but not Andre Seldon small it seems. Measured 5'10" at Kentucky's camp. Had a 40" vertical. Slight, but physical from his HUDL. Apparently clocked at 22mph sprinting which, if actually close to true, is flying. Either way, his game shows up on tape.
I'm really happy with Edmond and would be happy to add Lowe as well assuming it is for nickel primarily. Good recovery by Clink, the board was getting razor thin after they lost on Nichols and it looked like Scott was trending away.
Lowe seems like a BIT of a poor man's Nichols, but neither feel like desperation reach types whatsoever.

Michigan's 2024 recruiting class continued its downward trend today with the verbal commitment of CB Jeremiah Lowe from Lexington KY. Lowe is a 3 star recruit who is ranked as the 1088th overall prospect in the country and 96th CB prospect. With the loss of the two kids who went to OSU, M was left to scramble for replacements, and settled for Lowe and Joziah Edmond from Illinois.
One recruiting service still has Michigan as the 6th best recruiting class in 2024, but that's likely to drop further as other teams above them and immediately below them gain more commitments.
