  • WM has Filiaga as an OG, not OT. I think the OG rank should be an A. I agree with Steuber, Honigford and Hall as a C-.

Honigford is a program player. Definite redshirt. Give him 3 years in the program and then he may be ready to give you quality starts as a RS Jr.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

That makes sense. Spread it out so you don't find yourself in the same predicament down the road.
I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

      • Exactly. End the cycle.

        • As an aside, this is one of the dullest NLOIDs I can remember. There's almost no drama for any of the top players. There are 3 undecideds in the top 30. Marvin Wilson, Solomon and LaBryan Ray. Ray is a lock to Alabama. Wilson is thought to be an LSU lock. Solomon is about the only announcement with any drama. There are 4 others in the top 50 and the only with any drama, IMO, is Tufele who is most likely Utah, but maybe USC.

The next uncommitted player isn't until #64 and he's probably a Bama lock. Boring.

On a side note, Bama may actually pass OSU for avg ranking with its NLOID commits and OSU's lamentable decision to take a flier on a low 3* WR.

          • But exciting for Michigan fans, since we're in the hunt of the biggest name still in play, along with a possible A+ haul at wide receiver.

I'd like 5, but you probably need to debit the number for the anticipated burned redshirts, of which I think there will be a couple (Ruiz and Filiaga)

              • Talent is correct, usually you have far, far more blue chippers making a signing day decision. Signing day is usually pretty exciting if you follow recruiting nationally.

I'd guess there will still be a few signing day flips.

                • Expected burned redshirts you just need to sign a larger class in the next recruiting class.

In that event, then we still needed the bigger class. Only one guy on the roster will have 2019 eligibility.

                    • M has huge numbers in '16 & '17 (~55 scholarships) after having tiny numbers in '14, '15 and have very few 5th year seniors from '13; ~30 left on scholarship...

Regardless, I meant in terms of position groups; hypothetically M had no DB's redshirt in '16; M should add an extra DB in '17.

Concur with Talent on M's OL recruiting, I don't think M was ever going to take 8 but 7 was possible. M needed help there EARLY due to not recruiting the position well in '14, '15, '16 and signed a recruit or 2 less than they wanted however long-term it helps the numbers situation.

                      • Per mgoblog -- Sam Webb has gut feel'd Collins to Michigan. Crystal Balls FWIW are coming in positive for Aubrey Solomon but I know better than to get my hopes up in a 'Bama recruiting battle.

                        • Nico 86% with crystal balls, Solomon at 71%.

                          • Supposedly, we'll know about Solomon within the hour.

                            • Not surprisingly, Becton (OL) to Louisville ...... the discussion about Harbaugh settling on an OL class of 5 is beginning to make sense.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                              • The prognosticators had Becton going to Va. Tech. I wonder if he had grade issues.
