  • Correct. I'm intolerable.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • That is also correct. It speaks to the quality of humanity in Michigan that despite this you are, somehow, tolerated.

      • The Aztecs exhibited tremendous humanity to Hernan Cortes.

And Brady Hoke, M-Man Extraordinaire, was an Aztec.

        • I'm still not sure why coach has to keep calling everyone out on twitter. Don't get me wrong I think its awesome that he doesn't take any shit but he seems pretty quick to start fights with anyone he can.
          F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

          • Cortes ended up ignored by the king and died broke and shitting brown liquid.

Brady Hoke is now the defensive coordinator at Oregon.

            • I don't think UFM will acknowledge my efforts here, and I'll likely die the same way.

              Correct.

                    • M is chasing recruits higher on their board than Irving-Bey. I think M lands at least 7 of the current top 9 in state.

                      • Wow! I was just looking at the 247 composite rankings.

The state of Michigan has 7 players that are 4 stars or above.
The state of Ohio has 15 players that are 4 stars or above.

The state of Georgia has 33 players that are 4 stars or above. That's bananas. If Georgia only got the top 25 players in the state of Ga and didn't get a player from anywhere else, the lowest ranked recruit would be Jeremiah Holloman the 215th ranked player in the country.

Just shows how good UGA should be.

                        • Tons of competition recruiting Georgia, everybody is trying to get a foot in there just as most try in Florida and Texas too.

                          • Absolutely, but there aren't any other decent teams (I don't count Georgia Tech) in Georgia. It's always easier to keep people at home than get them to leave the state as we know all too well.

The lack of instate competition is a big deal. Florida has three legit huge programs. Texas has UT and TAMU. (Plus Baylor and TCU for newcomers). UGA only has GaTech.

                            • I'm surprised too by how many players from Georgia leave the state to play football. Don't follow recruiting close enough to see if Georgia is actually recruiting all these 4-stars that leave to go to major programs.

Georgia Tech doesn't land many 4-stars, recruits in Georgia find Clemson, uSC, Auburn, Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee more attractive place to play than GT.

My take is that Saban is top dog, so if Harbaugh is taking him on, it implies that Harbaugh is challenging for the top spot. Getting a ton of publicity has worked well for Harbaugh so far. If Harbaugh does make it to the top, it will be interesting to see how his attitude changes.
