woods and dillon are likely for future upgrades to 4* status. I like Paea, but the other 3*'s committed so far especially Dunaway and the Canadian ... I think JH should have learned from last year and waited. I will say, after reading about him(after never even hearing of him) I was expecting alot more out of his Hudl film. Looked fine, but... Also, a long time scout on the M Rivals board loves this kid and said he would be the #1 back in '16 class if he were in it. FWIW. I wonder if he'll be around on signing day.Comment

That seems like a wildly optimistic take given his early breakdown is borderline 4*.
I was tempted to be snarky about our pending wager, but THIS. Outside of McCaffrey and Ross...and probably Hall, the rest of the class could not develop as well as the better kid who wants to commit to M or develop too well and draw in-state/regional interest.I wonder if he'll be around on signing day.

Looking at the depth chart by class on mgoblog, we have a glut of big skill players+current commits who aren't seniors.
FB?: Shallman, Davis
FB: Lasater, Poggi
TE: Dunaway, Wheatley, McKeon, Eubanks, Asiasi, Gentry, Bunting, Hill
That's 12 guys for what is typically just 2-3 spots on the field. Also, if you don't include Shallman and Davis, we'll have six tailbacks on the roster next year. Gotta find a spot on defense for some of those guys. Shallman should have been on defense from day 1.Comment
