  • I'm still amazed Weber didn't pick M with all of the Harbaugh hype. He could have been a difference maker on this team
    F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

Couldn't agree more on the Gary/Walker positional comparison. Walker is a good running back but Gary is an ELITE DT. Scary to imagine what OSU would look like in a year or two with Cooper, Bosa, and a guy like Gary up front. Really puts into perspective how important our oline haul is this year. T Davis or J Delance would be the final gem in the hog crown.

      • The 247 guy that they have on mgoradio (Steve Lorenz) says that we are recruiting him as an SDE -- so a Chris Wormley type.

        • I think that Wormley is a DT. Henry is the DE. But both are essentially 3-4 DE's I think.

          • Have you guys heard of this elsewhere? A possible position change for Zach Gentry.

            • Hinted at previously that he could be a tight end.

              • Rivals Southeast had a podcast and one of the guys says we are hiring Devin Bush Sr. after the year in another Chris Patridge type role. Keep them coming; at this rate we'll have to build a whole wing of Schembechler Hall just to hire "recruiting coordinators" of the power programs across the country.

                    • Might look better if junior commits first.

I take it back. Who gives a shit what it looks like! If Bush can recruit FL, sign him up. Remember, JH took substantially less money than reported so he could make hires just like this one.

And I did hear that Gentry could become a TE. But with the development of the QB at Memphis, I'd just like to see what he can do at QB. He is fast, also, and might be a good change of pace with Peters. Just don't let the shelf go bare on QBs again

Drevno was asked about that today, two times. No indication that Gentry is working that position or that there is a plan to do that. He does tend toward coach speak though so I don't think that rumor is completely dead.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                        • How M finishes this season imo will determine whether Oracle or Talent wins the bet, lots of ELITE fence sitters that if M continues its current momentum could finish in the 7-10 range.

                          • More and more, I'm finding that I really don't care where Michigan ends up as far as the recruiting rankings. No offense to Mr WM, who does a great job of keeping us updated here, but what I want to see, is Harbaugh bring in the guys who fit his coaching style, and guys who absolutely love playing football.

Stars with big heads aren't going to feel very welcome on a Harbaugh team. The guys who are flourishing now, are the guys who are rediscovering how fun playing the game is.

                            • Are they rediscovering the fun or is Harbaugh prodding them to do much better? I suspect it is the latter, he has some Wolf Larsen in him.

                              • I think its both.

He challenges them to get better every day, but he's also showing them that the game is actually a fun game to play. Several of the players have commented how they are rediscovering how much fun the game really is.
