More importantly, Ahmir Mitchell has finally set an announcement date -- this Thursday. Given that his choices are M and a school that won't accept his commitment, I'd say this qualifies as a mortal lock for M.

BTW, Hanni, JTB blew out his ACL in his senior season. Redshirted his frosh year at OSU and ended up being ok.

This is Falcon's second knee injury. He's another Chris Fox. He'll never play a meaningful down of college football.

I'll bet anything that Meyer extends an offer to Mitchell a few days before signing day.

At least we might have some talent at wide receiver again for the first time since the Carr days. RichRod and Hoke both sucked ass at recruiting them.

I'd make that bet for any amount, Hanni. They know everything they need to know about Mitchell. He's better than a couple of the kids they brought in last year. They don't like him anywhere near as much as as Austin Mack. And their 2017 class of WRs will be make-believe shit.

And I wouldn't be surprised if they nab Binjamin Victor anwyay, who's a definite take for this class.

As far as M WR talent goes, yeah, it's awful. They really need Mitchell. And I think they really need DPJ in next year's class. THAT would be a devastating miss, IMO.

As for Falcon, that sucks for him. Personally, I was nonplussed by him as a recruit, ACL or not. But it sucks for a kid to have to deal with that. There's a really good LB on OSU that tore his ACL in the playoffs of his senior season and then again last fall. Really feel bad for the kid.

Don't forget Caleb Kelly! HARBAUGH!!!!'s "swarm camp" in Fresno was basically the "Recruit Kelly Camp." Less success in the valley than at Prattville with "hidden gems."
