Indeed. Fickell had to convince UFM to take him. The other potential OSU first round draft picks were higher rated. But Lee was a great find by Fickell. And he was a total badass in the final 3 games. Well, he also scored a TD against M, too, but the defense was no bueno in that one.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Listen to the 911 call (link), the ignorance and audacity is staggering.
ALLIANCE, Ohio -- A 44-year-old Alliance woman called 911 Monday to report Chinese food that was "not up to par for her liking," according to police.
Tracey McCloud placed the call from inside Main Moon Chinese Restaurant on E. State Street, around 4:30 p.m. The call does not qualify as an emergency and she was arrested for misuse of 911, a misdemeanor crime, police said.
She'll appear in Alliance Municipal Court July 10.
Alliance Police are reminding residents that 911 calls are for emergencies only. Misuse or abuse of the system can delay dispatchers from taking calls from people with real emergencies.

Nice ....... The pertinent question though is, out of the 6 state of Michigan Standouts listed in the link below, how many of them are actually going to stay in the state of Michigan to play their college football? Do it at M?
I don't think any of them have committed yet but their offer sheets are pretty impressive.
These guys are probably potential NFL players and they are going to choose programs that they see will get them there, relationships notwithstanding.
Losing these guys to the SEC (and I'm including osu because they are actually in the SEC) or ND, IMO, would be a huge strike against the caliber of programs both Harbaugh and Dantonio run.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.Comment

Harbaugh must -- I mean absolutely must -- dominate the state of Michigan in recruiting next year. 2016 in state recruiting was beyond epic fail and an unmitigated disaster.
Imagine if OSU pulled in one out of the Top 7 players in the state of Ohio one year. We would all be pissing in our pants laughing our asses off at them.Comment

You must be counting on significant improvement as the season progresses. The team currently has no QB, crappy RBs, and unproven WRs. In addition, their best defensive player, Jake Ryan, graduated.
