I hope Malzone never plays a down at Michigan. His presence on the field would signify great desperation at the position. I'm trying to convince myself that we should be glad that Harbaugh is hauling in these rough diamonds. That's the approach Dantonio has been using, and, as any MSU fan will tell you, those are the type of players you want because they work harder than pampered 4 and 5 star athletes.

I am pretty sure that Dantonio has never purposefully gone on a 2-star binge without regard for class size, like Harbaugh seems to be doing right now. He seems to follow a normal strategy of going after plan A guys and then going after plan B guys when the A guys commit elsewhere or don't show mutual interest, picking up the occasional sleeper.

No, JH has offered 300 kids. To date, only 2* are committing. He was bound to land a top 100 player sooner or later. I mean, even Coach Herman has done that at Houston.
