Hard to imagine Gentry not being a part of this class. He took off his "Texas commit" from his twitter page and Texas has begun making backup plans. Would be pretty huge, he's quite a talent.

They've also scored some huge wins against aTm this season. Strong is doing well. And there's lots of speculation that the reason Gentry is even considering M is because ol' Charlie is about to steal Kyler Murray from aTm -- which would be absolutely huge for him. If that's true, can't blame Gentry for looking elsewhere.
All that said, I have no clue whether Murray ends up at UT or not. Just speculation amongst many.Last edited by iam416; January 22, 2015, 01:11 PM.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Well, he's not absolutely killing it, but he's doing good, he had a really good December and he's still in on a couple huge names. I'm guessing he finishes top 10. And Texas is now a much harder state to own for UT with aTm bringing the SEC brand, Baylor bring the "cool factor", TCU bringing the really good factor and the likes of OU, LSU and Bama raiding the state as always.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Going to be a very 'wild' signing day for M. Not many recruits you expect that you're expecting to commit but they are going to land some of them...
I'll make up a list this weekend probably and update it as needed... The first page will be updated after signing day with the current mess that is M recruiting.

Michigan will finish higher in Rivals than Scout because Rivals rankings are based on your 20 best and Scout is based on your 25 best. IMO, they have a credible shot at 3 depending on the service.
Of course, I don't know who decommits from Wisky (I know M has a 3* kid committed to Wisky that is very interested). I also don't have a clue who MSU, Wisky and UNL are still in on.
I'll say M signs 14 in this class. I'll say that's enough for them to get past Wisky for #4. That's assuming they sign Clark. If they can sign Marshall, they can finish 3rd. And that's the hard ceiling.
If they don't sign Clark or Marshall, then I'll say 6th.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
