This is getting old. Really need to have a good season. With one good season MSU erased a 6-6 record the previous year from many people's minds.

Crawford is an interesting case. His family is definitely pro-M and, I think, he genuinely likes M. That said, he also likes UFM and routinely speaks to him on his own accord.

I'm really not sure how this one plays out. I said awhile ago that I think he's really good -- like in the mold of Antoine Winfield good (praise I would rarely use). As an OSU fan, I'd be absolutely thrilled if he ended up at OSU. However, that's not a real possibility until he actually visits -- so we'll see if that happens.

OSU made a run at Thomas and Mattison did a nice job of keeping him squarely in the fold.

Sam Webb just tweeted that 4* and ranked LB Darren Kirkland just committed to M. He is ranked 256 by ESPN and 183 by Rivals. 6-2 225.

Not a surprise, I was on commit watch a bit with this visit as M was a clear leader and he's taken quite a few recent trips to AA.

It looks like the 2015 class is decent so far and has a great focus on defense. A better-than-expected season would sure help things, though. For all of us.

Ash been gone for awhile (pre signing day), my projections have M taking 16-18 with about 14 currently open. M might have a 5th year player (or 2) that won't return too.

The nation?s top tight end, Avon (Conn.) Old Farms? Chris Clark, recently reported that he will visit Michigan State and Michigan on June 18-19. Clark is 6-foot-6 and 247 pounds, with excellent hands and good blocking ability. Clark was recently upgraded to a five-star by Scout.com. He was offered by the Spartans this spring.
"I wanted that one, too,? he told Scout?s Greg Pickel about the MSU offer. ?I just like the way they play. They just play tough football, and Coach Dantonio is just seems like a really cool guy. They win a lot ? they just won the Rose Bowl ? and I think they use the tight end well. They?re a pro-style offense so it gets you ready for the NFL. I think it?s a good fit."
