He's (Westphal) a Plan B type reportedly. They are targeting Erick Smith, Lattimore, Nicholson, etc. at DB. Not sure if they'll take 1 or 2.

A four-star Plan B? Is he a weak four-star? Not really the type of prospect Mattison wants? Are the others that good?

Apparently they have interest in Michigan, and Ted Ginn likes Brady, but there's probably a lot of pressure on them to stay home. I think it's much easier for 4-5 star Michigan kids to migrate south than for similarly skilled Ohio kids to go north.

What I'm saying is that there's less furor over a kid from Michigan going to osu. Our fanbase isn't as fanatical. I imagine that there's a great deal of presure on an Ohio kid who verbals to Michigan to stay home.

They like Alabama, too. And, personally, I think they'd both go to Alabama before M, but that's pure speculation. They really like OSU. Pressure or not.

Hankins and Gholston were both very good CFB players from M, but neither was "elite" out of HS.
