  • Not knowing anything about Mr. Scott that sounds a little like a mixture of sour grapes and a low blow. Just IMO.

    • I like getting the two additional bodies, but how many scholarships do we have left?

I understand it is not totally relevant, but the # 2 and #3 overall picks in the NBA draft were basically unknown when they came out of high school. Olidepo and Bennett. If the staff watched them work out and thought they deserved a scholarship, then that is what you pay a coaching staff to know. The word is that Watson was going to get an offer from USC. I hope he contacts Juju.

      • It's true that he wasn't 'accepted' by M's admissions yet but could get into Clemson.

        • Canteen is skinnier than Anthony Carter! I always thought A.C. was going to be broken in half, but he was always able to avoid a big hit.

For the second time in three days, multiple outlets confirming a U-M commit (this time, '14 LB Noah Furbush) as I wake up. #coffee #STAT

            • He has good size for a LB. How many more spots open in the class?

              • Noah Furbush SLB is #13 for the Class of '14. Big enough to potentially grow into a DE... This closes the door on Drue Tranquill LB/S getting a M offer...

It's looking less and less likely that M lands a RB commit and a 3rd OL. This leaves the class just looking at DL and DB's with about 18-19 scholarships to play with leaving a scholarship or two to best talent available.

                • This is #13 of 18-19 (my projection); leaves about 4-5 spots left.

                      • 13 ? Not counting Pallante, I get 14. 11 before the ECA duo plus Furbush. I hope I'm wrong.

                        • I'm pretty sure that Pallante is either a preferred walk-on or a grayshirt.

                          • Great if he can grow into a DE; my concern about Furbush is that he might be a pussy.
