    • Lots of talent but unlikely to make good use of it.

      • I wonder if he decommited from Michigan because the coaches cooled on him. He was being talked about as a Top 150 type talent at the time.

        • Wow Hand is predicted to Michigan by ESPN. No school has ever signed the #1 & #2 recruits in the nation and to think it may be orchestrated by "Missing my frontal lobe" coach Hoke!

I'd like to thank Ohio A & M's head coach Urban Meyer for passing on these defective players as Michigan is forced to burn a couple of schollies on his scraps!

ESPN predictions: Hand, McDowell, Scott, Westphal will pick Michigan

A number of uncommitted Michigan targets are among ESPN’s Top 150 recruits for the class of 2014. ESPN analyzed the status of every uncommitted player and predicted where each would land.

ESPN predicts that defensive end Da’Shawn Hand, defensive tackle Malik McDowell, receiver Artavis Scott and cornerback Parrker Westphal will end up accepting Michigan scholarship offers.

Here are the notable Michigan targets among the ESPN 150 (overall ranking in parentheses), with ESPN’s prediction of where each will attend college:

DE Da’Shawn Hand (4), Woodbridge, Va. – prediction: Michigan

CB Adoree Jackson (5), Gardena, Calif. – prediction: Florida

S JuJu Smith (60), Long Beach, Calif. – prediction: USC

OT Jamarco Jones (66), Chicago – prediction: Ohio State

DT Malik McDowell (68 ), Detroit Loyola – prediction: Michigan

WR Corey Holmes (77), Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – prediction: Notre Dame

WR Artavis Scott (89), Tarpon Springs, Fla. – prediction: Michigan

CB Parrker Westphal (91), Bolingbrook, Ill. – prediction: Michigan

RB Joe Mixon (137), Oakley, Calif. – prediction: USC

          • Maybe WM can be of assistance here. If Michigan signs all those guys, wouldn't this be Michigan's best class ever? I can't think of one that would have been better.

            • certainly the best on defense.

              • It looks to be an excellent class if M can land McDowell & Hand; two elite recruits M leads for...

They'll likely add a 3rd LB [Dwight Williams, Drue Tranquill), a couple DB's (Juju, Adoree, Westphal, Nicholson, etc.) and a 3rd WR (Scott, Canteen, Williams)... Then it's best talent available with any remaining scholarships: Dickerson TE, Ballage RB.

Class is going to be low in numbers (& thus in 'rankings') compared to SEC schools but recruiting classes in the 20 range (18-21) is going to be the norm going forward.

                • But even though "No Titles" will be ranked lower than his "elite" counterparts, he's filling the needs of the team with very good talent. Not bad for a coach who allegedly doesn't deserve to even be a bus boy at the banquet of the "top" coaches in the country.

                      Given their girth:

Hoke is definitely kitchen staff, likely Chef no doubt.

As for Borges, Sous-Chef Pastry Department, morbidly obese, must love his work.

                            • I'm long outta that shit. The Middle East's Only Muslim Democracy is also the world's most enthusiastic jailer of journalists. I certainly would love to see it right now -- used to live just minutes away from there and always thought Erdogan would piss off some group enough to hurt himself one day. But I have no interest in covering it. At least less interest than you have in Anderson Cooper, who you keep going on about for whatever reason...

You Journalists that may or may not take it in the arse, obviously has nothing to do with accurately reporting the 11 o'Clock news.

BTW I spent a week in Dubai and I have your 6 on that, an ungodly place....story for another day.
