Seems like a great pickup. Impressive offer list and Top 200 everywhere except for 247.

Yeah, top 150-200 is where he probably belongs. Rivals has him as #61 ovr though. Probably a little high. I do think he can stick at OT due to his loooong arms and good feet. Don't think he can put on the necessary weight to be a G though.

Wilson and Ruiz would be a great way to close out the class.

And/or Slaton. Very much in play. He's probably my number 1 want, then Wilson, then Ruiz. All 3 are in play if 1 current guy gets processed.

Slaton and Hebert are buds, so I think our chances definitely went up.

Wilson is a tough read, and we won't know anything till the bitter end with him --- I think he is 'Bama bound.

Ruiz seems to be slipping away from us... don't know why.

So in the end we may end up with just Slaton and a 5 person class.

I realize Talent is laughing at our so-so O-line class which is way down in stars compared to O-state, but after Devery Hamilton jumped ship last year, I think JH just couldn't take the chance of waiting for the big stars.

Wilson I think ends up at Bama, unfortunatley. Slaton & Ruiz would be terrific.

Yup, Devery Hamilton made this OL class larger than we'd want.

I am doubtful of Ruiz now, but he would be great. The "tackle" prospects (Honingford and Steuber) could slide inside, so with Slaton, we would have a superb class.

Nico Collins has said we are his leader and I think we lead for DPJ as well ... if JH can close the deal (and I think how we do this season on the field is going to be huge in this regard) with these two, we couldn't hope for a better WR class.

I think Singleton is going to go Blue in the end --- i wish we could land one more elite LB, but I don't think its going to happen. I still can't understand why we took Ben Mason

We had hoped for Stanford Samuels some time back, but that is obviously not happening --- but JKP and Ambry would make for a stellar class if we can seal the deal. Especially since I except St Juste to eventually jump to 4* status.

Jay Tufele worth adding and not much else. Lots of plan B's behind the above M might consider if they don't land them; e.g. Hudson is Plan B to Tufele, Markquese Bell is plan B if they miss on DPJ and Nico Collins, Donovan Johnson is an option if they miss on Ambry Thomas and/or Darnay Holmes.

At this point, M isn't interested in in-state KJ Hamler WR, Deron Irving-Bey DT or Jordan Reid OG, leaving them to possibly end up at Sparty. Corey Bolds DT is an academic question mark and his spot will be spoken for by the time they know he's likely to make it academically...

M is chasing top 100 overall talents in DJ Johnson DE (California), Robert Hainsey OG (IMG), and Jordan Anthony LB (IMG)... Not sure any are too likely but M will continue to pursue them, later they decide the better chance M has if they have a strong season as many expect.
