  • Yeah, they eked into the top 5 last year on volume. I'd expect they're able to do the same with this year, especially with the in-state kids they can get. They also presumably are way ahead for Singleton and should get at least 1 really highly-rated OL.

Should finish 2nd in the B10 again. :-)

That said, I don't know how much room other schools have. I think OSU (even with just 20), Alabama and FSU will finish ahead of them, and I'd bet on Georgia over M, too, assuming Kirby is able to cull his way to a class of 25. And then I'd have M.

    • Pretty favorable depth chart for some positions too. A true freshman could get a shot at starting on the OL in 2017 if he is college ready ala Mason Cole.

      • Seems like they're getting ready to take Andrew Steuber. Hooray!

        • Nice depth guy to get as long as they get a couple of huge blue chippers to lead the class.

          • Ewell visiting today after just coming off visits to ND & OSU. Could find out where he's leaning.

                • Middling 3*.... Don't see why we need to accept these types of players. Talent gap to O-state is wide enough as it is.

                  • Because staff likes him, probably sees him as a program player and feels like they'll add elite talent to OL. It's the luxury of 27-29 scholarships.

                    • That and ol are the hardest to project. If they like him they like him. Could end up being really good. Doesn't help my bet with ass wipe.

                        • Would now be a time for a discussion about whether stars matter? I hear Mike D'antoni doesn't think so.

                          • He's a guy whose put in the work since his junior year to really better himself, offer list is nearly of a 4-star guy considering he came from lightly scouted Connecticut. I like the Ivy League offers a lot too, great to have those types.

                            • Circling back to tie off the Dylan Moses discussion from February or so...looks like M will not get one of his OVs. It's still Alabama or LSU w/ Texas, apparently, now in the mix.

OSU gets a visit, but it's a LOL visit.

                              • Seems like Ewell may be "trending" toward Notre Dame. I take that as good news for OSU. I'm not sure what it means for M.
