I don't have names for you but I thought there were a few other receiver options. I could be wrong. Plus I remember seeing mixed reviews on Payton a while back, either here or at mgoblog. Who knows whether they were valid or not.

One look at the depth chart says we need WRs badly:
Next year's team looks thin at several positions.Last edited by Rocky Bleier; October 24, 2011, 03:16 PM.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

Some mixed reviews on Jordan Payton but I'm not one of his detractors; he's a top 150 overall prospect and a very solid 4* talent with a very impressive offer list...
I'm not near as high on the WR talent after M's top two options: Darboh & Payton...
Madaris, Chesson, Powe (no offer yet, plan C option) etc. are clearly a tier below in talent level.

Notre Dame already has 3 WRs committed in the current class. Payton should know that he would have an excellent shot at seeing the field for 4 years at Michigan. Stonum, Jackson, and Robinson would be the only WRs ahead of him.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.
