'11 was such a feel-good year. I got lost in it too. In reality it should have been clear that Michigan's offense was going to be a shitshow, and the team just had incredible ridiculous luck that year. ND, Nebraska and VT tried their best to lose and did a great job.

And the one-year shitshow in Columbus was a big help as well. Without the pixie dust magic that was a 7-5 football team. Very fun season, tho! Adding a Suagr Bowl Trophy to the collection was great given the rare opportunities to play in that game.

Michigan was badly outplayed and should have lost to VT in that Bowl game.

Most fans had little or no choice but to coalesce around Hoke, no shame in it, the real Villian was Dave Brandon in that tragedy.

Denard's legs gave Hoke and his incompetent band an additional year, after that nowhere left to hide while he drew an obscene salary.

4-star DE Corey Malone-Hatcher from St. Joseph MI has committed to the Wolverines.

Malone-Hatcher was considering Michigan, Alabama, Wisconsin and Notre Dame, among others.

Not an up-to date recruiting board as M has higher targets at DT than those two listed. Dotson is someone who gives a glowing review after every visit, but Penn State and Sparty look more likely than M...

In-state, M has 3 of the top 6 and are good bets to land the two DB's in the top 6; leaving just DPJ in the top 6. After the top 6 it's Deron Irving-Bey, Antjuan Simmons (OSU), and Hunter Rison (Sparty) that are 4-stars... Paea has dropped to 13th in-state with 247 composite.

Exactly to all of it.. That VT game was horrendous.

His recruiting was fine but he had no frigging clue what to do with them besides spout "Michigan Man" and what Blue means to him like a kid saying what he thinks people want him to say.

It seems like Michigan has always recruited well, with the exception of RichRod. Generally, our teams have underperformed their recruiting rankings.
