    • That's impressive; that's what I'm talking about.

      • David Long may be our best recruiter for Darnay Holmes.

        • Baylor fires Art Briles this morning. I wonder what this does for the Texas camp that he and Harbaugh are scheduled to hold.

          • Nothing ......

            Briles won't be there.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • Ambry Thomas(#135 OVR, #14 CB) should be dropping in the not too distant future.

                • BTW, in the not shocking to anyone news, Michigan makes the final 5 for Isaiah Wilson(#20 OVR, #4 OT) along with LSU, Georgia, Bama and USC.

                  • In super shocking news, Purdue has 1 commit for 2017 and it's a low three star. They have the 99th ranked class on 247.

                    Wtf?? Are they even trying?

                    • How would've they fared with a MAC schedule the past three seasons?

                      • Ohio State may have passed Alabama in recruiting. Harbaugh's Michigan may join them soon. Which other schools are likely to be elite over the next 5 years? Oklahoma? Clemson? Georgia?

What's impressive with Harbaugh is that he has quickly established a national recruiting presence. I don't know much about Oklahome, Clemson, and Georgia -- perhaps they're still more regional powers, without a long enough track record of success to be elite?

                        • True but Harbaugh isn't just an ordinary coach though either. Coach was a highly successful at the NFL level and came back to the college ranks even when he had several other pro teams interested.

That doesn't happen often. But one thing fo sho, we deserve it. We hit the mother load after a decade of watching our beloved storied team be run into the ground by 2 garbage hires for our program.

I think the Texas schools being a mess will really help Oklahoma in the immediate future. They never really needed all that much help, but with Baylor a disaster and ATM/Texas facing big years, Oklahoma could pounce.

                            • Ohio State hasn't passed Alabama in program recruiting. Ohio State is probably #2. Alabama is a clear #1. Florida State is my #3 for the moment. LSU is rock solid, too, and probably top 5. A host of others are in the next group including Clemson, Georgia, USC and probably M. I tend to think Georgia is going to up its game with Kirby.

                              • Georgia seems to be on the rise. At least with regard to recruiting.
