I disagree about not needing a fullback. Do we even have a real fullback on the roster?

    • I think we're recruiting a couple "real" fullbacks, but I'm not sure there is one on the roster now, or one that's committed yet.

I don't see it as a big deal. If Harbaugh needs a FB, there are several RB's that may fit the bill in a switch, and there might be some guys who have played FB in HS. He'll have one if he needs one.

            • good pick-up. I am sure Urbz will be pressing to turn him from now until NSD 2018.

              • '18's off to a good start. Probably won't be huge numbers, but it looks like we're getting our 4th place B1G finish bump. I like it.

                • I'd heard rumblings earlier that Cesar Ruiz might commit tonight. Guess the rumblings were wrong.

                        • Good get on Taylor. FWIW, I have zero insight as to whether this sticks for the next two years. I suppose the first sign is whether he visits OSU for spring game.

His coach is a definite M funnel, though.

I'm not sure exactly how we are classifying them, but Poggi and Shallman are lining up at that spot nowadays and I think that Kingston Davis is slated for that spot or a TB/FB type role. We've got Quite a few TE/HB/FB types on the roster now.

                            • I guess if Poggi's not too tall than Shallman isn't either, right?

                              • Shallman is pretty tall. I remember thinking that he might be too tall to play TB.
