  • Dantonio has done a good job. But I just have to laugh at how he always takes an opportunity to take a jab at Michigan. He's not going up against Rodriguez or The Clapper anymore, so it will be nice to see the tables turned.
I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

Confirmed with his school that Rashan Gary faxed in his NLI to Michigan about ten minutes ago.

      • Overall, pretty good job by team Harbaugh.
Loss of Eliott and Hamilton damages the lines.... which I am sure pisses JH to high heaven since he believes in building from the trenches. Will be crucial for the '17 class to be heavy in these areas.

It's official! #1 Overall. Rashan. Gary. 〽 Who’s Got It Better Than Us

Cant lie worried me a little that it took so long to get it in.

          • we are really going to need these 3*s packed into this class to develop. Some of the questionable takes did fall by the wayside as they got HARBAUGH'd --- however, we still have too many Metellus/Gil/D. Johnson's for my liking --- bringing them in is going to mean jettisoning some 5th year seniors presumably --- question is that a good trade off?... remains to be seen.

            • Yeah I asked myself, ESPN doesn't have a fax machine in Bristol?

              • I think Talent raised the question last year as to whether JH would turn out to be a good recruiter. I think the answer so far is that he is pretty decent one.
One hopes that if we are able to follow up with better results on the field, JH can achieve more Urbz-like results.

It's going to be hard to beat Urbz-coached teams on a regular basis if you are always coming to the fight with inferior talent, Mark Dantonio not withstanding.

                • I get your point Rocky and I agree. I'm looking for Harbaugh's payback for Dantonio running it up the year we "spiked" the field. Harbaugh has shown he likes to shove it up the ass of his rivals. Nothing wrong with that.

                    • I think his year shows that Harbaugh can recruit. he certainly showed that he could at Stanford. Problem is that Urban can recruit at the highest level and can develop the talent he has. He's the second best coach in the game. It will be interesting to see the rivalry. It has Bo and Woody written all over it!

                      • I really like Asiasi. He is up to 272 now. He ran really well at the AA game. Shoot, if he gains about the same amount of weight next year you have your OL member.

                        • I remember when Saban was in E.L. and having some success, but he didn't stay. He explained (to paraphrase) that he was tired of competing with UM against whom he felt he could never dominate in state for top recruits. Would not be surprised if a similar outcome now occurs with Dantonio.

I haven't posted much here in recent weeks but have been sweating today's outcome as much as the rest of you guys. Am surprised that this all means so much to an old fart who never played the game. My wife thinks I'm nuts. It is embedded deep in my system.

                          • He reminds me of Phil Seymour. Huge tight end at UM who became an offensive tackle for Buffalo and helped OJ run to fame.
