    • Not sure the rules for early entries, talent and how much they change limit of 25/28 on signing day...

Great news on Boss and his Te teammate, would work than make up for losing Elliott.

      • Pie Young supposedly isn't a take for Florida state or Michigan. Dependent on other recruits most likely.

        • He was towards the bottom of the list for me anyway. Would rather have Johnson, even though that probably won't happen either.

            • I know. I really can't believe Alabama has won 4 national titles in the past 7 years. I would have guessed it would be far more random. I mean, I'm a little surprised a MAC school hasn't won anything.

                • The NFL is a whole different ball game that very nearly each position calls for a certain skill set.

                    • word around Missouri is Allen is leaning to ISU. I guess JH comments about UNL's offense and use of TE's this past season (which has more to do with our previous OC calling the TE position outdated than what Riley wants to do) has moved UNL into the #2 position and ISU in the lead.

and that is coming from non husker sources... for the record.

                      • I think the interesting thing about the NFL and it's allure to recruits is it is somewhat could counterproductive to go to a school like Alabama if you are a huge recruit. Some of those recruits are going to sit the bench. You look on the rosters of the NFL you see a lot of big fish in small pond type of players. You need reps to progress.

yep. I'd suggest that development at the college level is not what it used to be due to restrictions by the NCAA. So playing time becomes more important.

                          • I think M will take Donald Stewart and expect Nate Johnson to go somewhere else. Then call the WR/ATH position done...

                            • Signing of the Stars celebrity roster is shaping up to be quite interesting with Denard, Desmond, Lou Holtz, and Ric Flair (wtf?) among others.

Wonder if those who have already signed (i.e. our early enrollees) will get involved in the festivities.

Speaking of early enrollees, any word on how these guys are doing with Tolbert's S&C program? We need guys like Devin Bush to get ready, because they will be on the field early.

                              • I'm not too excited about Stewart ... seems more of another take to keep Rashan happy. Feel like we already did that with Dwumfour.

Worried about the USC visit grabbing Boss-iasi, which is the pair we really need.
