  • They said during the game that he runs a 4.3 40. I'd say that qualifies as blazing.
What's the difference between an OSU grad and a park bench? A park bench can support a family of four.

    • I think Gallon may be the 2nd most dangerous guy on the team with the ball in his hands.

      • He has definitely redeemed himself. I thought for sure he would be a casualty of the coaching change.

        • He actually looks decent on punt returns now.

          • Michigan has taken a 2012 walk-on commitment from Fenton punter Kenny Allen. Kenny had 1 scholarship offer from Oregon State and decided to stay close to home and punt for Michigan. "Kenny is a very talented young punter. He has the size and athleticism to dominate in this area. Can hit a huge ball. Also a great kicker. A top combo prospect in the Class of 2012. Kenny is averaging 43 yards per punt this year and is also a place kicker."

            • Very interesting...In a GoBlueWolverine interview Kyle Kali reveals that it was Brionte Dunn who advised him to first visit Michigan. You can hear part of it on today's recruiting roundup with Sam Webb.

              • Nice addition at kicker with no schollie being used up. Lights a fire under Hagerup's ass to stop doing whatever dumb crap it is that he is doing that has gotten him suspended twice.

                • After reading some things at Rivals, I'm beginning to think we may still have a reasonable chance to get Brionte Dunn...

                  • I have heard widely divergent things about Dunn.

                    • The story hasn't changed a lot. Supposedly, he's waiting to see if ohio gets hit with post-season sanctions. If they do, he's probably gone from them. And, with the commitment of his cousin Dymonte Thomas to Michigan, the feeling is that Michigan's chances with him are good.

We'll see. ohio has the good old boy network hard at work for them, trying to make any "punishment" as minimal as possible.

                      • His cousin is working on him, and Kalis is as well. He must have a pretty high opinion of the Maize and Blue if he told Kalis to visit. He may be waiting until Signing Day so he won't have to put up with the mot disgusting fan base in the country threatening his family.

As I understand it, he's inline to be an early qualifier. I think that helps Michigan in a multitude of ways when it comes to Dunn's recruitment.

                          • Danny O'Brien has scheduled his announcement date as October 6th. He has also scheduled an official visit to Tennessee on October 7th.

I guess that eliminates any "suspense" over his choice. He's obviously headed to Tennessee. I have no idea why he'd commit to Michigan on October 6th, and then take an official visit to Knoxville on October 7th. I think the good folks at Tennessee would probably have a problem with that as well.

Too bad he's not coming to Michigan. I would have liked to have seen him on that DL being coached by Greg Mattison.

                              • When was that official setup? Probably before he setup the date for the announcement, still odd to setup announcement just before an official visit.
