How does it do good for Rawls to lose a year of eligiblity for some mop-up carries?

Even if you expect Rawls to get leapfrogged by recruits in the next couple recruiting classes, he'd provide an extra year of depth if he redshirted...

Can't see guys like Mike Cox or Terrance Robinson getting asked back for a 5th year with them not seeing any PT and falling behind so many guys with more eligibility.

He might be the 'big' back (aka short yardage) since Hopkins can't hold onto the ball.

Rawls his hopefully the last middling 3* recruit that we'll steal from the MAC. Probably not worth redshirting, since you'll need his schollie in 2015.

Maybe the guy can contribe this year. RB is a position that you don't rs a whole lot.

Remains to be seen if he's a 3-star MAC player or the future star Sam Webb was projecting. Maybe Sam was just over-excited because Rawls is from Flint. I just want him to play on an as needed basis only.

To bad Rawls fell flat on his face with his first carry. I thought Smith and Touisant did very well running the ball after DR opened things up with a couple of break out plays. Gallon was pretty exciting returning punts and making some good catches.

Very quick and elusive, fast but not a blazer like Shaw, Denard or a healthy Woolfolk.
