COLUMBUS, Ohio -- It may have taken the world by surprise when five-star running back Kareem Walker of Wayne (N.J.) De Paul decided to take an official visit to Michigan last weekend.

Urban Meyer knew. And, according to Walker, he's just fine with it.

During an interview with Todderick Hunt of NJ.com, Walker said he told Ohio State that he's taking his official visits and Meyer -- who has said publicly that he's fine with commitments taking visits -- was fine with that decision.

"Coach Meyer and coach (Tony) Alford, the running backs coach, knew from the start I was taking all of my visits," Walker told Hunt. "Coach Meyer doesn't have an issue with it. He's confident these trips will confirm my wanting to attend Ohio State."

what does Wheatley weigh now? Last I heard he was up to 260.

The only concern I'd have is figuring out why he looked like a superstar as junior, but didn't really pop off the tape as a senior. Fix that and get him to his junior-self and he'll do great things. If he is what he is as a senior, then he's fine, but overrated.

This is a good get, but if I recall correctly, Green was the best back in his class too. I dont think our RB woes are definitely solved with this pickup.
