Wheatley's son doesn't have an ideal position which is the only thing that concerns me. He 6-5, 250 and athletic as hell. I'd prefer him as DE, but he might get recruited as a TE.
I've never left Michigan in the winter, but this year I decided to winter in AZ. Last winter was bad but no where nearly so bad as 77-78 and 78-79. I'm just tired of fighting it. I do think there is something to be said for the proposition that the harder life in the northern latitudes makes for more adaptable people (geographers call this "Huntington Region" theory).
As for Wheatley's son, just give me a 6-5, 250 great athlete and I'll figure a spot for him. TCU tries to recruit players who handled the ball in high school, and then they build some of them up into linemen and have a raft of skill players. It seem to work for them.
This'll be my second winter in DC. Snow here's a complete gong show. Ridiculous. I agree with Rocky. Plus there's a ton of fun to be had outside in the winter. Earn your warmth. Then go inside, make a fire, and have a whiskey.
Which part, I have no clue on my last point. It could guarantee him a Wolverine, or it might not change anything. Wolverine insiders have remained confident but my info (pre Wheatley hire) from other recruiting insiders says he's been leaning elsewhere.
Let's hope he just wanted to travel a bit and see other schools. He was either UM from the start and wanted to have some fun, or his father's new job completely changed his plans. I hope he was UM from the start. But, if not, I'd say let him go to the school of his choice. He has not had UM in his top 5 recently.
OP, I find it disturbing that you would even have knowledge of such videos...
lol
