        • Really like Roseboro, terrific talent that is athletic enough to play SDE at a high level but could grow into a DT. He's close to a 5* talent.

            • Wheatley is a TE btw, at least to those at M. Nussmeier likes to use 2 TE's (at Bama anyway) more than Borges so I wouldn't mind another TE in this class. Still see a need for a DE type. Staff probably is looking to add another CB, LB and hopefully they uncover a diamond in the rough OL as all the top guys are taken. Those 5 would take M up to 16, which is about where I project this class to end up.

              • I think Roseboro is the most important recruit since Peppers. UM has two D-line coaches running the show (Hoke and Matteson) and yet have been unable to close the deal on an impact lineman for two years.

                • They've closed the deal. they just haven't developed them in transition from High School to Division 1 football. At some point posters here have to begin to understand that Hoke's failure is not recruiting, is not hiring talented coordinators, is not the inability to properly game plan but is the inability to develop talent. Why do you think I keep posting the mantra "tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow its only a (class) (season) (etc) away"? Um is running a race where it has its feet nailed to the ground. Other teams are flying by UM with "young talent" that has been developed. I challenge WM Wolverine and others to identify any other Div 1 team where the observation has been that the talent is too young and once it gains experience the team will take off over a period of 8 FUCKING YEARS!

                  • Once again, Stan nails it. It doesn't matter how many 4-5* guys Hoke gets, he doesn't do a fucking thing once he gets his hands on them.

Or the ever-present "we're too young" meme.

Any talented recruit is best served steering clear of that mayo-sweating clown.
Repugnant is the creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

                    • Hoke is still young.

                      • Wheatley looks like he's going to outgrow the TE position. He's already north of 260 supposedly.

                        • I thnk that KLS a just as important if not more so. We need an edge rusher badly.

                          • KLS is a better talent and a position of more need yet a much longer shot. KLS really likes M, says distance is not a factor but the home state schools will get more looks and always have an advantage. It's great for M he's going to decide after taking officials but still see it as a long shot.

                            • but why are they having problems developing the talent ... did Mattison take stupid pills? He never seemed to have problems in this area before. Don't get it.

                              • Agree on Wheatley, at 260+ right now he could end up OL size in a couple years.
