  • I don't see much reason to think he's (Newsome) more likely to de-commit than anyone else, that said I've heard a lot of the same regarding Franklin. He's brought another sleavy SEC type coach into the B10 that'll give M trouble landing recruits from the Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia region; a region I was hoping M was going to start to build momentum in.

I'd give PSU a slight edge in his recruitment though 247's crystal ball slight (60:40) slightly favors M.

    • I don't think he's different. That's the point. My reasoning is based on the fact that he hasn't made any official visits. How many times have we seen kids who commit early suddenly decide they rushed the process and want to take their official visits? As for Franklin, he may be more the used car salesman than even Urban. You know they're going to have some recruiting border battles. It's going to be hilarious to watch as the pot and the kettle call each other sleazy.

        • Yup and he's suppose to announce this week, not next. Would fill a big need with a big talent.

          • Gut toward Michigan? Listened yesterday and he said he believed Newsome was leaning toward PSU.

                • Cool... Now to hold on to him as I'm sure Franklin will be on the phone with him the night before Signing Day.

                  • Newsome seems to be a class act.

The Ty Isaac transfer is a good example why fans should not shower hate on a kid who chooses another school.

                        • Saw that Wheatley Jr. is supposedly up to 275lbs and has outgrown TE. Looking like DL or OT. I'll still take him.
