Put another way, as SLF noted, OSU has been rated slightly higher than M by every recruiting site the past two years. M has whipped OSU and probably everyone else in OL recruiting. OSU has to be doing something right in just about every other position group to rate higher. They aren't doing it on numbers (same in 2012; M signed 3 more last year).
But, TBH, it's not an OSU/M issue. It's far more an OSU/M rest of the B10 issue. I don't think OSU or M would trade classes with anyone, including each other, and I think every other B10 team would sell both their kidneys to get either one's classes. And that talent gulf is what we'll see in 2-3 years if not sooner.
