I was just wondering regariding the "family" atmosphere statement by Bunting... Does anyone know if the football program (specifically) offers any sort of day car program as a perk for any of the players who may have children--a place where they might be able to take their children when they are at classes, have practice, games etc. and/or the wives-parners are at classes etc. Probably not a big deal as most players do not have children but may the type of thing that could attract the occasional talented recruit and would fit right in with the family atmosphere thing particularly if the center is house somewhere in the football complex.

Kaleb Ringer LB leaves the program...
He had a lot of competition in his class (Ross, Bolden, Jenkins-Stone), the starters in front of him (Jake Ryan, Desmond Morgan) and M is recruiting terrific LB talent behind him. Part of the 'expected' attrition even before M can sign 17-19 recruits.

As I understand it, illegal benefits are anything that an athlete may get, that another student cannot get, because they are not an athlete.
So if the university has a student day care center, players with kids would be allowed to use it for their kids, if they have any."in order to lead America you must love America"

Ringer would not have been able to transfer to another B1G school with a scholarship. As with Justina Boren, he would have had to have his parents pay his way. By going to Ferris, he can gain immediate eligibility, and they'll probably find some $$ to pay his tuition. Ferris isn't rolling in dough ..."in order to lead America you must love America"

McGary never said that the rides were free just that the driver would get him if he called. I've had a cabbie here in A2 give me his business card and tell me I was a priority pick-up (I'm a good tipper) so it could be something like that.
