I'd say that gives Borges an opportunity for great success the next three years.

I'm willing to give him a pass but man, he's on thin Ice with me. I'm just not ready for 3 yards and could of dust. Been there done that. There has to be enough innovation behind a super strong ground game, that keeps defenses off balance. If he has a weakness, it seems to be developing that off balance thing during the play of the game that all great offenses have.

I have no problem with an effective three yards offense. I would have a problem with an OC who wasn't a lights out recruiter running it.

Why does he have to be a great recruiter? Our DC is better regarded, but it's the offense that's been getting the better recruiting haul. Two straight years of teriffic OL recruits, a top QB, and a top RB.

Agreed ..... I don't think this is his thing. 330 lb men who are just plain fat don't impress me or, I would think, elite offensive players.

But, hell, Weis seemed to get away with it, albeit wearing those super bowl rings that Belichick and Brady won for him - he is such a fraud.

Hoping Borges isn't in the same mold but he could very well be. I don't trust the guy. Sorry. meanwhile leave the recruiting of our offensive guys to Funk Jackson (fading fast but what the hell he brought in Green, according to the press on him, and, I guess, Hoke .... I do trust that guy. If Borges is OK with him, then, he's OK with me ..... for the time being.
