'14 class 'might' be small, it might just barely be a top 10 class if they only sign 20-21 kids; one of those being a kicker. Quality is important for '14 if it's small.

They'll get a top QB, hopefully their top target whoever that'll be...

Needs most everywhere are low, they have high numbers in the defensive backfield but quality is mediocre. A top CB or two would be nice but only need 1 safety type imo, Mattison loves 'big' boundary type corners who can play either boundary or safety... They'll only need 1 or 2 more LB with Ferns already committed, they have luxury of being picky with that last LB spot or two... I really like the DL they added in '12/'13, they have both quality and numbers; they'll need a couple 3-tech types and an either a WDE or SDE depending on where they see Ojemudia growing into...

Offensively they'll need a couple running backs unless they add Green in '13 plus another elite back in '14. Numbers at RB are low even even if they add a third in '13 though I see Shallman changing positions (H-Back, TE, or SDE)... Need both numbers and talent at receiver but I'm not as 'down' on the talent at receiver as most as I like M's 3-4 star types they've added in '12/'13; hoping to land a couple top 150 overall type receiver talents; preferably ones who don't want paid.... OL situation is great, they can be picky with Denzel Ward already a Wolverine but I'd assume they'll add three-to-four... Numbers still low at TE, they'll take one in every class I'd assume.

Last I heard he was "looking around." He's was still referred to as a Michigan commit when he recently visited Florida.

One possible QB candidate is a kid from Detroit Country Day. I don't remember his name, but he supposedly "has all the tools" to be a very good QB. I'm too lazy to look it up ...

Coming down to the wire on D Green. Latest I saw is that he has a "top 3 of Michigan, Auburn and Tennessee". He will be making his announcement on Saturday. TCU is making a late push, but Green says they are not in the mix.

My gut feeling is that Michigan is probably a 65%-75% favorite. But, you never can tell with a 18 year old kid.
