  • Thanks, WM. Personally, I call BS. Just thought I'd get your info. Thanks.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • That's the first I've heard anything along those lines regarding Dukes. Interesting, but I'll have to look around for more info...

      • still not finding ANYTHING regarding Dukes, Talent...where did you see it?

        • As far as M insiders know, nothing has changed in terms of Dukes likelihood in being part of this class.

          • Ohio insider (at scout I think) started the smoke, not sure what it's based on if anything. Supposedly he (Dukes) had tweets just yesterday that were pro-Michigan...

I'd be very surprised if M dropped him unless he has legal issues, M wants more receivers in this class, not less.

            • Dukes tweets he's a Wolverine today. Ohio insider with egg on his face.

              • Where does Duke rate in terms of WR rankings nationally? If the Circle of Trust has soured, what is the catch?

                • Jaron Dukes is a 3-to-4 star receiver; 6'4" to 6'5"... 4-star at scout, could get a bump in rankings later...

                  • Sounds just fine to me.

                    • 6'4" to 6'5"
At least we are seeing a return to tall wideouts than the RR years, if not the most talented.

Talent once again buys into the rumors emanating from the Columbus sewer like toxic bubbles.

                      • Tall receivers (& TE's) with long wingspans give QB's a lot more margin for error and can turn a lot of incompletions, interceptions & sacks into completions. These tall receivers are even more dangerous in the red zone where jump balls are typical...

Typical cornerback is 5'9"-to-5'10" in the B10.

                        • Sounds as if the FEAR we have been hearing is in the o-lie-o camp.

                          • The problem with "tall" receivers is that they usually have trouble making the quick moves in their pass patterns. If the route is just a straight route, or a fade, they have an advantage due to their size. If its more of a juke and go route, then a smaller receiver is usually better at running those.

                            • Back to recruiting; M maybe losing ground on both running back targets; Derrick Green and Jordan Wilkins... I like DeVeon Smith a good bit but I don't like much else M has at running back in the last few classes...

At corner, M is gaining ground with a couple big names; Kendall Fuller & Leon McQuay both are listing M in their top 3.

                              • Don't understand why M hasn't been able to attract RBs.
