That makes perfect sense and I know that Hoke has to offer the best of the best. However, whatever his strategy, I hope he does nothing that will, in the coming years, diminish getting the vast majority of the best in-state prep talent to come to Michigan.

M commits since '01 that OSU offered that had a real offer? Just Shawn Crable who was 'bought' according to those from Northern Kentucky, no that was Burgess who OSU fans claimed was bought many years ago.Last edited by WM Wolverine; June 2, 2012, 08:49 PM.

Unsurprisingly defensive. I'd say no one here has paid any attention to Hurst's recruitment and statenents. And, TBH, why should you - he's a definite plan B guy. Hence, UFM telling him to wait and see how things worked out.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Also, I, of course, defer to WM on matters of recruiting Massillon and Warren kids. Really, all matters Ohio recruiting.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

This is going to be a top 2-3 recruiting class, that figure isn't important as it depends more on how many scholarships programs LSU, Bama can 'open-up'. More importantly, M is bringing in blue chip talent while filling all of its needs. '12 and '13 classes are looking like ones that can bring M back to the elite, contending for and winning B10 titles...
With Poggi aboard, decent chance M closes up DL recruiting for '13. The '12 class was strong on the DL and was very high in numbers (6); Poggi, Hurst & Charlton is a really good DL class but quality was more important than numbers...
Recruiting board for now:
*RB: Derrick Green and Jordan Wilkins...
*WR: Laquon Treadwell...
*CB: Leon McQuay III...
*DL/BPA: Wyatt Teller, Tashawn Bower...
