Yeah, poor phrasing, wondering if the same thing will happen this year, settling for this WR makes me wonder.

      • Every time a trees falls in Michigan, there's reason to suspect that somewhere in the state a houseplant is drooping.

I sent an email to Tom Osborne. I'll let you know what he says.

Don't get too overly concerned with the # of stars they have right now, with their HS senior seasons yet to be played---some kids peak early, while others are late bloomers. Sure, as much as I'd love to see 5 stars next to the name of every kid we sign, it's what they do once they arrive at U of M that counts most. And this kid looks (on the limited bit of video there is on him) like he's got some tools and overall athleticism that make him a worthwhile gamble.

            • Well he's got a greater chance of having a red phone on his desk than I do...

              • Chris Rock SDE/3-tech leaves M. With M's excellent DL class in '12, this is probably best for him but I hate seeing those class of '12 recruits not being able to redshirt if they need to. He wasn't in the 2-deep, probably wasn't going to make the travel roster either...

Treadwell's visit 'this' weekend is actually 'next' weekend. FWIW, M is up double digits, late in the 4th quarter of his recruitment...

                  • Not shocking, but very disappointing. This program desperately needs some stud skill players. That makes three years in a row that we have just barely missed one.

                    • That sux. I think he could have been amazing at Michigan.

Unfortunately, I think he will be amazing at SC too.

                      • Well, the only time we'll face him is in the Rose Bowl, so at least he didn't end up at a B1G school.

                        • That sucks. Can't believe he wouldn't want to play behind this incoming offensive line. USC would be hard to say no to however.

                          • I can't really blame him for choosing SC. Great school. And song girls.

Plus they had a great team last year and will be in the MNC hunt once probation ends. Plus he will get plenty of exposure at RB at SC.

                            • Screw him. Let's hope we get a chance to play them while he's there.
